Best of Area Dining / This Week In Park City

Results of our 3rd Annual Best of Area Dining Poll

If you've been following our 'Best of Dining' awards for the last two years, you might notice that this year, while there are some obvious repeat winners, there are also a lot of surpises. This may be due to the economy or the fact that more locals have taken notice and really did vote for their favorite restaurants. Some restaurants campaigned through social media and did a good job doing this.

In a few cases there were ties for first. These ties were broken by votes from our staff. Also please notice that the categories are not necessarily in alphabetical order.

Congratulations to all!

This Week In Park City staff comments

Final Note: There are approximately 130 restaurants in the area from which to choose, some expensive, some moderate and the surprise was that only a handful received no votes and most of those were fast food places which weren't on our ballot to begin with. In addition a few that received votes have been out of business for a few years or recently closed their doors--Boua Thai, Lakota, Spencer's Smokin' Grill, & Souperman. We also eliminated all the votes for restaurants along the Wasatch Front since this was not about them.
